The Fontenay Hamburg
Hi my loves,
I hope you are doing well?
We spent the last weekend in beautiful Hamburg. The famous hanseatic town is always worth a visit and as we have been invited by UNGER for a very special event we could not ask for any better opportunity to get to get to know the amazing “The Fontaney” Hotel.
I have read a lot about the imposing 5 star house before and what should I say? I was not disappointed at all. The modern luxury hotel is directly located next to the famous Alster lake. It’s therefore pretty perfect to discover the city of Hamburg. You can actually do it by foot, with a bike or with a car, it doesn’t matter at all. The location is goals!
Of course also the optics is very impressing. The modern facade is made for every design fan and you can see immediately that the house was opened not long ago in 2018. What a gorgeous place!
The hotel, which is also part of the “Leading Hotels of the World”, leaves you with nothing to be desired. You feel it first when you enter the fancy lobby. Everything is just perfect. Such a heartwarming and professional welcome!
You can also see the elegance in each of the rooms. The coloring with warm beige, blue and sand tones is just made for this extraordinary “Alster” ambiance. You can easily take a seat and just relax. I also loved the size of the room. We often “fight” with tiny rooms and not enough space. It was completely different here. It actually has something to do with the ceiling height of 2,85m. With this there is a brand-new sense of space.
Another big highlight is the amazing food in the Parkview Restaurant. You can not only have a delicious breakfast here you can also enjoy a very elegant and sophisticated dinner with a lovely view at the illuminated Hamburg at night. If you like to have a little snack in the afternoon or just a “five o’clock tea” then lean back in the classy Atrium Lounge.
All in all “The Fontaney” provides everything you need for a luxurious and relaxed city trip!
We will come back for sure and as the saying goes:
“Who is arriving in Hamburg has a home for life.”
Wow, das ist aber wirklich ein schönes Hotel!
