Smile if you can – A brandnew smile w/ Dr. Schlotmann

Hi my loves,

it is exactly on year ago when I started working with the dental clinic Dr. Schlotmann. The first step to a very successful collaboration. You might know that I have not talked that much about my teeth. But also for a good reason. I wasn’t really happy with them the last years but things basically changed now.

When I was a teenager I had a very tragic accident where I lost one of my front tooth and at the same time experienced a dental at the other front tooth next to it. That was actually bad enough but it was getting worse the next years. As it turned out the provisional solution was not the best though and so I got some new problems. In the process of time the remaining damaged tooth dies and so a root canal treatment was inevitable.

Ok, this was indeed anything but beautiful. The tooth also began to change the colour into some kind of a darker shade. So you might imagine that it was not easy for me to smile around without any inhibitions. But what would life be without laughing out loud? Well, certainly nothing. So this is actually one of the reasons I started to search for a very good dentist who would help me with my problems.

After a long time of research I finally found the dental practice Dr. Schlotmann in Dorsten, Germany.  One of the most important things for me was getting to know each other and discussing the process step by step to get the best result possible. And what should I say? I could not be any happier now with the result! I got exactly what I wanted: beautiful and natural teeth!

Now I would like to sum up what we did within the 1-year process:

• gum construction

Caused through the early accident the substance basically changed so it was necessary to build it up again. This is a pretty new procedure in Germany and it was one of the biggest parts of my treatment process.

After completing the recovery process it was time to start with the “main treatments”.  These basically consisted of the following steps:

• 2 dental crowns on roof-treated teeth
• 1 implant crown
• 3 veneers/facings

These steps were finalized quickly within a month and now I am finally able to laugh out lout without any compromises, without any doubts! Smile as much as I can!
