Hi my loves,

there is truly no better combination than Paris and Montblanc, right? There is really no better place than a country full of history and poetry. So can it get any better? Oh yes, it actually can. How? Well, you just need to add “Le Petit Prince” and the perfect symbiosis is born: the “Le Petite Prince” Special Edition by Montblanc.

As if the famous masterpiece would not be enough sensationell the traditional house wanted to create something really really special. Inspired by the wonderful story told by Antoine de Saint-Exupérys which is also a great plea for friendship and humanity Montblanc created masterpieces which are just bursting beauty and fantasy.

I am also a big fan of the little globetrotter and I also do have a very big weakness for any kind of calligraphy. This was for sure on of the reasons why I was really happy to realize this project together with Montblanc. It was clear from the very first second that I will tell this visual story in one of my favorite cities in the world: Paris, such a magical place full of charm and energy!

I was particularly touched by the noble and special design of this new masterpiece collection. The fountain pen in dark blue precious resin is inspired by the blue of the outer space and the cap has an engraved fox print as well as a quote out of the famous novel while topped with an Montblanc emblem. Not for nothing this collection is defined as a “Tribute to Imagination” and it plays very deliberately with the power of imagination while reaching the core of the story of the little brave prince.

So to be honest: don’t we all just need a little bit more fantasy in our world full of digital technologies?

For the most of us it has been such a long time since we took the time to actually write some postcards by hand. But aren’t these things the only things which really matters in the end? These personal, special things. One thing is for sure: the beloved recipient will thank you for thinking of him/her in this very special and most personal way. Living in times when writing an email within seconds was not easier, writing a selected and thoughtful postcard is worth a million bucks.

Please follow my visual story through the autumnul Paris. Beginning with the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg through to my lunch break in a charming, adorable and typical Paris bistro.
