Traveling w/ ITEM m6

Hi my loves,

now it’s actually the beginning of August. This is so crazy, how time flies! That means we officially landed in high-summer with lots of travel plans and rays of sunshine. Well, we can definitely not complain about summer in Germany this year. My gosh, we can’t even stand the heat anymore, most of us are simply not used to it! But things could be worse, right? It is also the time of year when everybody is starting their well-deserved vacations. For me, there are also some very exciting upcoming projects and as a frequent traveller I am more than happy that I just discovered the newest sensation by ITEM m6.

As you already know I am a big fan of the German brand. Lately I have just introduced you to their “Hollywood Contouring” Tights. So, I can’t really live without them anymore and they absolutely complete my daily wardrobe staples.  That’s also the reason why I am extremely happy that they just launched the new “Travel Collection”.

If you are traveling a lot like I am and you are mostly sitting in a plane, you know that it is quite essential to pack your things smart. Of course you cannot see and plan everything  ahead – that’s life basically – but you can be well prepared. So, for me my travel essentials are the following things: Dried fruits, a very good hydrating face mask, some noice-cancelling headphones and by now: my “travel socks”. Why? I will explain right now:

Why should I wear compression stockings while traveling?

Most of you know the struggle: sitting in a plane, car, bus or train while traveling for a long, long time without movements is simply frustrating and not very enjoyable. Quite the opposite: it could get pretty dangerous as well. Due to the ongoing sedentary there might arise a thrombosis. I know, sounds not that sexy at all and it surely isn’t. But we should be aware and take care as good as possible! For this reason ITEM m6 developed some very special socks and tights to ensure – with a high-tech compression technology and perfect defined pressure curve – an optimal blood circulation oxygen supply for the legs.

One thing I absolutely love: I can jump into any of my fave heels right after landing.
